Of course, but he's been caught red-handed several times with real evidence.
You can only rail against truth, can't you ??
Speculation does nobody any favours ..

I'm referring to his character as a man, not his ability to get results on the pitch or the style of football.
In that regard I think I was quite restrained about him and in no way "over the top".
He's a proven tax dodger, bung merchant, conspirator and bribe receiver par excellence.
We've had enough of this kind of character at our club, haven't we ??
I want everything about our club to be whiter than white morally, not just the kit ..

Can I ask at what point do the scales tip to "no I wouldn't want him" because of his off field antics. What would he have to do to say this?
About two inches for me, obviously ..

Saiz and Diouf spitting
Bowyer and Woody beating up Asian students
Cellino sacking anyone not directly servicing the first team and closing the academy
Bates asset stripping and tax evasion

There's loads more down the years.
No more.

It has nothing to do with his brand of football but that doesn't help either.

I'd rather take a punt on a coach that's respected by other top managers and players, who could possibly pull players to the club that we would otherwise never have the chance of getting than on a crook.

PS I still think theres a risk of him taking off early if he doesn't get his way whereas the likes of TC and Heck seemed happy to tow the line.

Funnily enough, I was involved in a podcast a few weeks ago and Paul Robinson our ex keeper was asked about his best manager. For management and prep and tactical knowledge of the opposition, Robbo answered 'Allardyce' without hesitation :)

I don't particularly want him here but if he was here I'd back him and I would expect us to be challenging for auto promotion.

Remember the Panorama show about him and his son.
Those.
Plenty of brown bag japery down the years ..

I'm not talking about fixing matches. I'm talking about transfers and favours.

Ah right, fair enough. I'm no expert on criminalities but I'd class that as bungs :P
