Interesting article in today's Guardian on the rapid growth of Eleven Sports, AR's company.

Read that.

Looks a sound business model to me, especially for the customer.
I really loved the sound of what they did in Italy with Serie C - what a great idea, just focusing on one division and the use of two cameras at every match is genius in terms of making it more affordable.

I agree - innovative approach that will hopefully break up the big players and ultimately make it more affordable for all. Hadn't realised the mastermind of BT Sport's incredible growth was now at the helm of Eleven Sports either.

From an LUFC perspective I just hope the business keeps growing. Having the club tied to a highly successful international live football franchise will keep money and sponsorship deals flowing. Conversely, it's quite a high risk approach, and taking on BT Sport and Sky will never be easy - hope it doesn't end up sucking up all of AR's time and money at the expense of LUFC.
