Sam Byram

Post by Aidanbutterworth2 »

Unfit still? What is going on with him? Has he not fully recovered from the hip injury or is it poor form after his lacklustre showing against Barnsley that's keeping him out?

We really need a fit Byram starting.

Good to see him come on v Forest and get an assist of sorts...

Wouldn't be surprised if he requires an operation, young Sam looks nowhere near the player he was last season, hopefully the lack of pre-season & match-fitness is the only problem

I think its as much a confidence thing with Sam, he knows he is struggling with his fitness and its causing him to play with caution if that makes any sense

A fit and confident Sam would make a real difference to this side. BM is protecting him and Mowatt which is the right thing to do.

He was much better against Blackburn and made that goal for Smith through dogged determination. Lets hope we start seeing the best of him again.
