Re: Penalties
As someone has said, we don't get into the box as much as we should, we play around it looking for the killer pass which usually doesn't come... and to contradict myself we're 3rd highest scorers and best GD .... it's a funny old game.
I can only really think of 2 or 3 shouts that we didn't get ..... I stand to be corrected.

Ive never known a sequence like this, is it some kind of record ?
Re: Penalties
Wos me wot said it! We will start getting some penalties when we get a centre forward. The other team I support, Everton, are in exactly the same situation. Sold their centre-forward and didn't replace him. Their leading goalscorer is a midfielder.Davycc wrote:As someone has said, we don't get into the box as much as we should, we play around it looking for the killer pass which usually doesn't come... and to contradict myself we're 3rd highest scorers and best GD .... it's a funny old game.

I once played against Don Revie.

Funnily enough, our last pen was against Reading on a Tuesday night. We play Reading this Tuesday evening, of course.NottinghamWhite wrote:Now 56 games

Re: Penalties
and we missed it! Mike Dean is the ref and Lee Mason is the 4th official tomorrow so if we are ever going to get another one this is a good chance!Barlow Boy wrote:Funnily enough, our last pen was against Reading on a Tuesday night.
