Re: Patrick Bamford out for 4 months
Bad news, will be interesting to see what MB does and who he brings into the team (squad).
Owners come and go but Leeds United will be there forever, for the fans - keep Marching on Together.
Re: Patrick Bamford out for 4 months
Whilst this is disappointing news Im trying to find a positive, it will be like having a new signing in Jan/Feb fresh and ready for the run-in

Re: Patrick Bamford out for 4 months
Anyone know how our injured players are getting on ?
Berardi back for Blackburn
Bamford out till Christmas
Roofe back for Blackburn
Brown did we know the extent of his injury when we signed him ?
Hernandez back for Blackburn
Douglas was taking him off a precautionary move ?
Edit just read Bielsa' presser from Monday.

Berardi, Roofe and Hernandez will be back for the Blackburn game according to MB's press conferences.NottinghamWhite wrote:Anyone know how our injured players are getting on ?

Bamford and Brown sound like they are both on the same time scale of January return according to MB.
PS wish folk would read the press conference thread as all the answers are there.

Re: Patrick Bamford out for 4 months
I've just seen a Tweet from Barry Douglas and there was no mention of any injury.

Great news. It's not just goals we need, I think we also need a bit of his swagger/arrogance up front.NottinghamWhite wrote:He's ahead of schedule & back in training
On a side note, does anybody know how the Brown deal was structured? Presumably we're not paying his wages while he's in rehab, but if that's the case, why are Chelsea trusting our doctors on one of their assets, given theirs are probably 'better' (or at least have access to better facilities)? Still don't fully understand that deal, I must admit.

No, we don't pay anything until he plays. Presumably Chelsea have specified a programme for him to follow and they'll be keeping tabs on him. I can't wait to see him start. He'll be like a new signing come January.Leonickroberts wrote:Great news.
