If someone offered that I'd snap their hand off.
We have done more than OK so far this season but with a squad that is lacking in depth and also a bit of quality achieving a top 6 finish this season is a hell of a big ask IMHO.
I watched the Baggies Vs. Villa last night which was a decent Desmond with plenty of quality on the pitch as well as coming off the bench. Good result for us but a lot to look at and be concerned about the challenges ahead. These others seem to getting up a head of steam!
This is the start of the business end of the season. Every game, it seems is going to be a 6 pointer. Plenty to get excited about.

Who do you think is getting a head of steam up ?PhoenixUnited wrote: These others seem to getting up a head of steam!
Only Norwich have accumulated more points than us in the Form Table (last 6 games).
Villa have same points but better GD over those games.

Re: Would you accept playoffs now?
Strikes me that the teams to worry about are West Bromwich, Villa and perhaps even Derby. It looks to me like they are better resourced in terms of the squad and are, overall putting decent results together. Norwich too keep pulling out the results ans there is the others like the Blunts and Boro as well. We have accumulated points alright but have had the rub of the green and have sneaked perhaps a handful of points. My real issue is that the injuries are going to bite and with the size of squad we have it is a big, big problem.Selby White wrote:Who do you think is getting a head of steam up ?PhoenixUnited wrote: These others seem to getting up a head of steam!

All in all getting into the top 6 as I said is going to need something akin to a perfect storm for us. This is far from any sort of complaint. I am juts loving the season and can't wait for the next game to come around.

Re: Would you accept playoffs now?
We’re nearly half way through the season, with 2 points per game. If we can keep that going, well go up.
Of the other 5 teams currently in the top 6, we have 4 of them at home. Those games could be very important...
Yes, we have a paper thin squad, and injuries have hit us hard, but our younger have stepped in and performed well. And we have some key players on the way back soon.
