Bielsa and others

Post by Davycc »

OK heres a question. If we get promoted under MB where would he fall in line of "greatest managers we've had ?" Hard to see past The Don at the top or maybe some would! I personally already love the man for his all round genuine demeanour and outlook. It's really impossible to see past the Don so let's have a vote for our next best.

Wilko followed by Armfield for me.

Too early to fully judge MB but he could end up a legend if he keeps momentum going.

Picked Wilko but i really hope Biesla goes past him

Marcelo Bielsa - hopefully he will top them all!!!

in order -

1. Howard Wilkinson - (my pick) - won us the 2nd division title and the 1st Division title, can't say any better than that! (bar that league cup final!)

2. Jimmy Armfield - i liked Jimmy he came into the club after the Clough disaster and did a good job, getting us to semi finals in the cups (oh to do that in the near future) 3 years in a row was a good effort after the break up of the Revie Team.

3.David O'Leary - into Europe and in the top 5 every season, could have finished second but Armfield had the harder job

4. Simon Grayson - finally got us out of League one and nearly into the Championship play offs

5.George Graham - got us back on track once Wilko went south (results wise i mean)

forget the rest for various reasons
Terry Venables
Dennis Wise
Kevin Blackwell
Brian McDermott
Owners come and go but Leeds United will be there forever, for the fans - keep Marching on Together.

Has to be Wilko. League title, division 2 title, charity shield and a league cup final.
Follow the cause not the leaders.
