So long as we can maintain our current average of 2 points per game, we should have enough to go up. After the win v Derby, that means picking up another 8 from the next 4, so 11 points from these 5 games.

I saw a stat that showed both the Blunts and Norwich have less than 6 points against the top 6 this season. Pretty shocking statistic and confirms my belief they're in false positions based on who they've played recently.

Interesting few days coming up, today sees Norwich City v Ipswich Town ( normally you would say a home banker but in a local derby anything can happen )

Midweek fixtures :-

WBA v Nottingham Forest
Bristol City v QPR
Ipswich Town v Derby County
PNE v Norwich City
Sheffield United v Middlesbrough
Leeds United v Swansea City

We then get a 10 day break as QPR are playing in the cup.

Leeds drew withMiddlesboro in added time of 11 minutes. Good draw, but were there a lot of stoppages/ injuries in the game?

Game was stopped for about 10 minutes because of the problem with Jack Clarke.

Thanks for that. I read afterwards that Jack Clarke was taken to hospital, after he collapsed in the dugout.
Hope he recovers.

I think we took 7 points from those 6 matches?

Anyway, if we continue our season long form (1.93 points per match), it will pip the 10 year average for automatic promotion (Championship runners-up over the past 10 seasons = ave 86 points).

To do this, in the next 13 matches, we will need 25 points:

8 wins, 1 draw, 4 losses, or

7 wins, 4 draws and 2 losses, or

6 wins, 7 draws, 0 losses.

The 8 wins looks tough. A lot depends on number of drawn matches...
