Done. Dithered between Pablo and Alioski. Went for the latter in the end. His energy and commitment have been second to none and he has started virtually every game so Bielsa obviously thinks a lot of him. Went for Roberts for young player, as I don't think Clarke has really done enough yet. Best goal - Pablo's opener vs WBA; talk about raising the roof.

done. Pablo. Tyler. Roofe v Blackburn.
Re: Player Of The Year & Other Awards 2019
Just an update on my earlier “done it post”.
Pablo, for player of the year, and Pablo’s goal against WBA for goal of the season.
Young player of the year?
Jamie Shackleton ....... saw him play in the pre-season game here in York, and he definitely caught my eye, quick, and though not necessarily a natural defender, he is so fast that he was able to get the ball back from someone who has gone past him.
I’ve seen nothing this season to change my mind ............ this lad has slotted into the first team quite seamlessly, and my word, he is quick, moving from full back into attack in a flash.
He’s a future superstar at Leeds.
MOT.

Player Of The Year - Kalvin Phillips
Obviously, Pablo is quite rightly getting all the plaudits lately, but Kalvin has been absolutely superb this year in his ‘new’ role. His reading of the game, his ability to break up play and put us back on the front foot has been outstanding, just a shame he’s not picked up a few more goals along the way
Young Player Of The Year - Tyler Roberts
In truth, I was struggling to pick one above the other here out of the nominees but I went for Tyler Roberts. I’ll hold my hands up, I’ve been a bit of a critic of Tyler, but he has been fantastic of late and I have to remind myself how young he actually is.
Goal - Pablo v Norwich, closely followed by Klich v Wednesday
Incidentally, anyone else going to the awards night, be good to have a pint with a few from here
