Ball playing CB, winger, Franchu - number 10 at Real Madrid Castilla ooc would be a good support for Pablo, Andre-Pierre Gignac - scores where ever he's been, currently top scorer in Mexico. Had his best season under Bielsa when he was at Marseille and he would bully Championship defenders.
Why Wilks over Temenuzhkov?
He's scored 16 goals in League 1 this season from right wing, whilst Temenuzhkov has only played for the U23s. Ideally, I'd like to see more of both, to be fair.

Thanks for the above... we have got a hell a lot of players, we could do with offloading a dozen at least.

I make that almost 90 players which in my opinion is nothing short of daft.

It isn’t if we manage to send 45 on loan and make money from loan fees. However, your right Phil, we appear to sanction ever ending recruitment at U23 level which has had a significant impact on the wage bill, funds which could be used for the 1st eleven.

Realistically, from that lot we can say that this is the current first team squad :

GK Casilla, Peacock-Farrell

DR Ayling, Dallas

DL Douglas, Davis

DC Cooper, White, Berardi, Shaughnessy

DMC Phillips, Forshaw

MC Klich, Shackleton

AMR Costa, Harrison

AML Alioski, Clarke

AMC Hernandez, Roberts

SC Bamford, Roofe, Edmondson

That's 23 players.

So, as things stand a first choice XI might look like this :

... and a second string, something like this :

I like how you have put those teams together, I would however put Hernandez on for the first half of any game alongside Costa and Alioski, I know he hasn't got the legs for a full 90 minutes but he could do a lot of damage on a fresh pair of legs with Costa and Alioski running the channels weaving in and out with pace.

Hernandez is a magician still and i think he could have a huge bearing on this season for us regardless of what he ended up like towards the end of last season. I think Roberts is okay but certainly doesn't have the influence of Hernandez or guile for that matter. He needs another season or two experience before he unlocks his magical talents and influence.
