From the presser today, Bielsa says he wants to keep Eddie not only for this season but next season too.

Think some folk have made more of him not been in the starting line up initially than the Clubs are concerned about.
Think the media doesn't help they are only too eager to stir things given half an opportunity.

Remember his one start (I believe) against Stoke in the league cup, lots of good points but long way from the finished article imho.

Its all about learning his trade but am sure he was about to get the nod when unfortunately he got injured, so definitely in the plans.

Suspect it'll all now be about sharpening up following the injury, maybe used again from the bench a couple times before been unleashed as a starter.

He said that about Lewis Baker too ;).

Elsewhere, there are claims in Italy that we have already agreed a deal to sign Vydra (formerly of Udinese).

Not entirely sure on the reliability, but if Nketiah and Clarke go, alongside Roberts' injury problems, then Vydra could be a pefect signing who can play as a 10 and a 9.

Considering he’s only played 360 mins of football in the last season and a half, he might be ready in time for the play-offs.

Just finished an enjoyable watch of the development squad's 2-1 win over Sheff U.

Clarke, Shackleton and Douglas were replaced by Nketiah, Berardi and Alioski at half time.

Meslier made a super penalty stop - he's making a habit of it apparently - but the highlight was a free kick by Bogusz that went in the top corner.

A number of the young players not involved at all eg Struijk, Davis, Temenuzhkov and Stevens.

They hit the bar when it was 1-1 and Berardi got booked (unluckily tbh)
Might have to take an interest in the Premier League now....

Jordan Stevens signs a new deal until 2022.
