Yes, Costa or Klich area, would be a great addition but as you say a striker needed too, I’d be happy with him and Sharpe and even happier with him and Adams

Far too good to be true, will believe this one when he's signed on the dotted line and not before. YEP saying there's nothing in it too alas. Starting to get a bit nervous about all of this. Off to QPR on Sat and would love some positive transfer news before KO.White Knight wrote:Jarrod Bowen would be an outstanding addition. Maybe not the out and out striker that was on the agenda but he really knows how to score, he knows the league and he has current form.
He has two good feet for shooting, scores with his head, scores from set pieces......... this is really like an ideal (and really expensive) transfer. If we get him, we’re going up!

I know its only speculation. So that would be £30m in IOU's at the end of the season. Its got to be a green light from QSI? No!Shadwell White wrote:Bowan rumoured now 3m and 15m at the end of the season
..... and Sharp is certainly no Strachan!Selby White wrote:Sharp wouldn't be my choice he is 33 and don't think we should be signing players at the end of their career. Yes sometimes it works out (Strachan) but often it doesn't.
Some like that, coming off the bench in tight games, would be a great addition on a 6 month contract but definitely not on any longer term contract. He knows where the goal is.Selby White wrote:Sharp wouldn't be my choice he is 33 and don't think we should be signing players at the end of their career. Not necessarily QSI. If we’re promoted then it’s not an issue. Otherwise it’s Philips + to cover the debtsViduka Hits The Mark wrote:I know its only speculation. If its £3m loan and then he goes back to Hull at the end of the season, its a none starter. Why would Hull aid our promotion bid and then Bowen leaves on a free if it fails?
After initially being against the Sharp transfer i am now a little torn tbh. He could come in and do for us what Austin does at WB. Whether Sharp would want to swap one bench for another is doubtful. I would imagine he may want a guarantee of playing before he comes to a decision. If indeed he leaves at all.Selby White wrote:Sharp wouldn't be my choice he is 33 and don't think we should be signing players at the end of their career. And then Phillips gets a bad injury in the last game of the playoffs and we fail to go up. Now that is a gamble. I would love he lad to come tbh. Big commitment on another winger tho, maybe we have offered a straight swap for Costa?White Knight wrote:Not necessarily QSI. If we’re promoted then it’s not an issue. It’s probably coming to decision time on whether you gamble or not.
