Re: NEW KIT !!
He could have been at either the Trinity or Merrion shops doing the launch at the same time as at the centenary pavillion.
Re: NEW KIT !!
I think KP was absent from all promotion events tonight, and KR.
I think you can see this in three ways:
1. Keep both out of the spotlight, media eye etc, while talks are ongoing
2. They just weren’t there
3. They’re leaving
Anyway, I do like the kit.

Re: NEW KIT !!
I was out at a writing group meeting this evening so I missed the launch but I do like that kit.
A lot.
I love the shadow colours of the silvery grey against the white, leaving the badge as the (slightly off) centrepiece of the whole design.
I hope the away kit is all yellow with blue trim where the grey is ...

Re: NEW KIT !!
At the launch, they said something about the silvery grey bits are supposed to be platinum, and that had some relevance to the centenary year (or 100).rigger wrote: I love the shadow colours of the silvery grey against the white, leaving the badge as the (slightly off) centrepiece of the whole design..
I’m not really into all that sort of stuff, so didn’t take too much notice, but there was definitely a reference to it.
When you retire, you switch bosses - from the one that hired you, to the one that married you.
Re: NEW KIT !!
Hmmm .. I'm not sure but maybe that would be the colour of a centenary, like gold is a 50th anniversary, diamond for 60, silver for 25 .. etc.
Makes you wonder what 75 would be though ?

That shirt neck is bloody awful IMHO, unless you're into sailor wear.
Re: NEW KIT !!
Do like the white and grey home kit, Grey is definitely in
The email link shows two kits and I thought it was the home and away kits until I realised BPF is showing the GK kit

Re: NEW KIT !!
Love the new shirt. Was afraid the they'd go over the top and make it too fussy. Looks like a trip down to the Elland Road shop tomorrow, anyone know if it's also available in long sleeved as all the photos I've seen are short sleeved?
Just need a plain yellow away shirt to go with it now.

There's light at the end of the tunnel and the future's looking very bright indeed.

No, I think that’s him gone I’m afraid, I just can’t see us keeping him with the size of offers that have been rumored.NottinghamWhite wrote:Not Kalvin Phillips at tonight’s kit launch, mmmm.
