Extra tickets
When there is a small away take up next season the club is intending to sell tickets to Leeds fans in the west stand in front of the away section. Should be interesting times

Wonder how many of the southstand faithful will buy a ticket there then let someone else use their ST.NottinghamWhite wrote:When there is a small away take up next season the club is intending to sell tickets to Leeds fans in the west stand in front of the away section. Should be interesting times
Maybe they should install swivel seats so that those there can easily turn round to face opposition fans rather than watching the game

If it’s policed correctly, and there are plenty of grounds where fans in upper and lower tiers are from different clubs, then I don’t have a problem with it.
To be honest, I can’t even remember the last time I saw trouble at ER in the ground and it’s something like 8 years since I missed a home game.

When you retire, you switch bosses - from the one that hired you, to the one that married you.
Re: Extra tickets
They are talking about times when there is a small away following, assume that probably ones with fairly less confrontation, but then it just takes one idiot.

Re: Extra tickets
On the subject of tickets, apparently to buy tickets (WBA at home) I and my daughter need to buy a membership each and this does not guarantee tickets being available. I totally understand the reason for this but is there anyone with an idea how to get 2 tickets now that plane fair and accommodation had been purchased. I'm awaiting word from a local supporters club but am starting to panic Cpt. Mainwaring
I know, I'm on here long enough to know better but getting worried.

Re: Extra tickets
I’ve just contacted my daughter to see if there’s anyway Nottingham Whites can help. I suggest you contact dlw10 via PM to see if Shropshire Whites can help.Davycc wrote:On the subject of tickets, apparently to buy tickets (WBA at home) I and my daughter need to buy a membership each and this does not guarantee tickets being available. I think the ticket thing is getting silly now.
I've been contacted by a couple of people in the last few months through this site, asking about how they can get to see a match at ER and on both occasions, despite coming from either the other end of the country or abroad, they've been knocked back.
They were both one-offs so the membership line is out of order to my mind. I understand market forces, supply and demand, but also feel that the club are missing out on making a few new fans from around the world because they won't hold back any tickets for this kind of enquiry.
Why not keep fifty for every match and just put them on general sale if they don't get picked up ?
It just smacks of unprofessionalism at best and arrogance at worst ..

Re: Extra tickets
I know this doesn't help but think its obvious to me we need to invest in increasing our capacity, should have been done a few years back when we didn't have the same demand as now. Hindsight is wonderful but I did suggest that back in the day.
Think long term we should be aiming at 60k+ if we have ambitions of one day competing with the big boys.
