Leeds United defender Luke Ayling has been crowned the PFA Bristol Street Motors Player of
the Month for December.
Voted for by football fans across the country by fan engagement experts, Snack Media, Ayling picked up 39% of the vote, beating former Whites and Sheffield Wednesday defender Tom Lees in second place who picked up 15%.
Ayling helped Leeds keep clean sheets in victories against Huddersfield Town and Hull City in the month of December and also produced a man of the match performance in the 5-4 victory against Birmingham City, scoring a fabulous goal and setting up two more.
The full list of results from the final shortlist polled, were as follows:
- Luke Ayling (Leeds United) – 39%
- Tom Lees (Sheffield Wednesday) - 15%
- Jed Wallace (Millwall) - 13%
- Lee Tomlin (Cardiff City) - 12%
- Sam Johnstone (West Brom) - 11%
- Andre Ayew (Swansea City) - 10%
