George Best how could he have been ? A friend of mine was the man to take him to the states to play & eventually sacked him off as he was so unreliable & constantly letting him down at charity functions. Remember he was 27 or was it 28 when he hung his boots up. I remember seeing him play against us & he hardly touched the ball but then Paul Reaney was taken off injured & Best scored twice, game ended 2-2 but he could/should have scored more. If nothing else this was how good Reaney was a true unsung hero in my opinion.

I remember a game at Elland Road when Baxter played for Forest during the warm up & Gentleman Jim was playing keeping up on his own near to Lowfields Road. A Leeds fan was giving him dogs abuse & after a couple of minutes JB launched a ball & took out the abuser. We shouldn’t have done but everyone roared with laughter as JB sauntered off. He was a true character of the game the likes of never to be seen again.

Didn't see many of the players listed above so the following is my list.
England - Garry Lineker
Scotland - Kenny Dagliesh
NI - Martin O Niell ( Never saw George Best)
Wales - Gareth Bale
ROI - Paul Mc Grath (Giles was my hero but Mc Grath played at two world cups and a European Champrionship)
