FA Cup Final replay at Old Trafford

I was 10 and it was the first time I can ever remember crying

Good article on the BBC - https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/52416192

The 'tackle' by McCreadie in the penalty box with his foot at Billy's head was remarkable and the ref just played on - This was just a host of foul play throughout

That's the way all football was played in those days. The Yorkshire League, with several colliery teams, was like legalised GBH. Still got the scars.
I once played against Don Revie.
