Another sad day for those of us of a certain age.
What a terrible couple of years it has been for our heroes Jimmy Armfield, Paul Madeley, Phil Massinga and now Norman and Trevor.

Re: Trevor Cherry
Gutted, very sad day indeed.
I saw a lot of Trevor play as his career at Leeds coincided with a period I attended virtually every match home and away.
I also started going to England home matches when Don got that job so saw a few of his international games.
Was a very good player either as a fullback, centre back (alongside a big bloke) or defensive midfield. Certainly enjoyed a tackle.
RIP Trevor

Re: Trevor Cherry
This is very sad news for all connected to LUFC. I always felt that Trevor never really got the credit and appreciation that he should have had coming on the scene as Leeds United went into the post Don Revie era although he was well liked. A wholehearted player who gave his all whenever he turned out in a variety of positions who, rather like Paul Madeley, simply got on with his work without any fuss or bother. Leeds through and through.
RIP TC.
