To Big Jack who’s 85 today. After the recent passing of Norman & Trevor let’s celebrate Jacks birthday. 773 appearances for the club he’s a true legend in every sense.

Happy birthday big Jack. Alf Ramsey knew a good centre-half when he saw one.
I once played against Don Revie.

I have a knew found respect and love for all the players of that generation. When the game was truly played for the love of football. Norman Hunter said. When Jack got a kick early on (other teams did it too you know) in a game there was no better CB in the country. It doesn't matter if you are never wrong  a World Cup winners medal tells me you got most things right.

Happy Birthday Big man. They don't make em like you any more.

After looking that up. What a kerfuffle that caused. I can't remember too much media interest when Roy keane ended Haalands career then boasted about it in his book.
