100 club
Not since the Don Revie era have we had 8 players who have made a hundred appearances for the club.
Cooper (192)
Dallas (185)
Phillips (177)
Hernandez (151)
Berardi (151)
Ayling (147)
Alioski (126)
Klich (100)
Given this day of mercenaries plying their trade in football that’s an impressive stat.

That's a great stat but I'm going to disagree, without checking, on the Don Revie ('Reevi') statement
I'm testing levels of patience here but post 1974 isn't 'the Revie era' and there surely were more than 8 'centurions-plus' still playing for us.

So do I, even just to have his passion around the dressing room.rigger wrote:Brilliant.
Hope Berardi gets a new contract too.

Likewise. We'll very likely need a new GK and CB to replace Casilla and White in the summer, so I'd want Berardi to stay to maintain some stability in the defensive options.rigger wrote:Brilliant.

Just to note that our game v Charlton on July 22nd, hopefully our last game of the season, will be Marcelo Bielsa’s 100th competitive game in charge.

That sounds likely to be right. I'm not sure of the centurion status of each at the time, but 74/75 included Harvey, Reaney, Cooper, Hunter, Madeley, Bremner, Giles, Bates, Lorimer, Gray, and Clarke.Another Northern Soul wrote:I'm testing levels of patience here but post 1974 isn't 'the Revie era' and there surely were more than 8 'centurions-plus' still playing for us.

Think Mcqueen & Jordan also had 100 games and played that season.Clarke One Nil wrote:That sounds likely to be right. But arguably they are all Revie era players.
Would be surprised if the 92 champions didn't have a decent number with over 100 games, if not that season the following ones.
