Re: What would you do ?
Cash out £39k is a lot of money so the odds are only about 5/2 and City have 2 tough FA cup games to win it, long way from a cert.
WBA are also not yet out of the championship race, things can turn although hope not.

I wouldn't bet £1k in the first place
The post says 'the lad' like he's just a normal bloke who rarely bets and when he does, it's a the odd quid here and there.

Aye it struck me that a £1000 is a lot to put on a bet, more money than sense.

I like a good bet at the beginning of the season, this time I had us to be the Top Yorkshire Club in the division which is just about to drop in, it wasn’t a grand stake but it’ll pay for my season tickets for a couple of years.
I think I’d be taking the cash out of I was that lad, WBA are still in with a good shout of the championship and I fancy Man Utd or Chelsea for the cup.

Cash out for me.
Though I did cash out a massive £29 last night and all three went on to win Northampton, Getafe and Burnley

I think Brentford are a better bet than WBA, but we are there for a reason and it's up to us to keep it that way.

Take the cash and run!
Depends on how big a punter he is, in the end.

A grand stake suggests he's a regular to me, maybe even addicted. I mean no disrespect to any gamblers saying thatMr Russell wrote:Take the cash and run!

No brainer for me.
City could easily lose to Chelsea in the semi - they lost to them in the league three days ago - while we all know the other bit's safe
