No thanks. Very good and classy player at times but obviously something in his character that is making the wheels fall off. Probably be an expensive punt too as well as being unlikely to fir the Bielsa mould

I agree that a player should play on his favourite role, i just mean that for time being, as we are down on players llorente can play on his less preferred side and do a good job for 3-4-5-6-7 matches until the injured players are back.

Re Alli - not saying i want him in ER, but his best form was under pochetino, who basically copy Bielsa ball and demand very similar type of football. I know towards the end of the term under poch the team, alli included, didnt do well, but it is probably the best verification that he can fit to the system ain't it? Or are you talking about attitude in the dressing room etc?

I'd love us to sign Zinchenko, as an option for CM and LB.

Likely won't sign a left back in January but if Burnley go down I wouldn't mind Charlie Taylor back. I am usually against looking to past players Like he and Cook etc but He would be a very solid option.
Mendy's place is under threat in a big way at city and obviously Bielsa connection there so would enquire about him before having a go at Zinchenko. We have quite a few players like Zinchenko in stature and I think we need a few bigger players who can adjust well to the system. I would love to sign Jason Knight from Derby in the summer aswell as I said a few months back, not for an immediate starting position obviously.

The other one I keep hearing in Puig from Barca. Lad is class but I don't see it happening because it would upset Pablo even further.
