We definitely need goals from a new striker, but personally I'm actually excited to see how Bamford gets on in the Prem. I'd like to think a couple of hard seasons in the Championship will give him the edge to properly bully some of the lesser Prem defenders into submission. He's not going to turn into a 30 goal a season premier league striker overnight (or ever) but that doesn't mean he won't be really useful, and still has room to improve.
Yes welcome to the forum, as Leo say's its a good idea to introduce yourself.

Would like this to be true, it's doing the rounds in the papers.
Always like Cavani not only a great striker a work horse as well would fit MB's system.

I think now the dust has settled and I've read comments from everyone around what we want and what we think is likely my realistic wishes are this.

Must:
Make Harrison and Meslier permanent.
Get at least 1CB (hopefully White).
Buy a LB (lad from leganes maybe)
Pablo heir (Buendia would be ideal and not over priced IMO)
A striker, happy to punt on a young emerging talent.
Oh and an experienced backup GK

Extras but happy with young cheap foreign import Gamble's.
An extra CB
A CM

All in all we don't need a a lot in terms of money spent (unless we buy White)

In contact with the club could mean we rang, got no answer and left a message :D , so I agree that silly season is already upon us - it's all 'paper talk this early.

Reminds me when there was no social media and we all bought newspapers - glaring headline in middle of December: "xxxxx out for remainder of year".
At quick glance, we thought it meant rest of season and bought the paper, only to find out he was out for 3 weeks, til January
