The only type we get under Bielsa.

I love the man - truly, I adore him both as a coach and a humanist, but if he could just rotate one or two slots each game I'm sure we'd have fewer injuries and a more experienced crop of youngsters. I mean, what has Shack got to do to get a game ? :eh:
As I see it Shack is our most likely replacement for Klich, that's where is problem starts. Klich is key to our set up and never seems to get injured, runs on duracell I think.

True about llorente able to play DCM - he did at RS.
Think its a great loss, but struijk is the pre thought sub for phillips. Now if both llorente & cooper are injured we will have to be creative.
About koch at DCM it is an interesting idea. Last season whenever KP was out white took place and we never looked as good i must admit. If we play
Dallas--Ayling--koch--Leaf
In the back 4 (or any permutation of that) with struijk on DCM i feel like each player will be in his most comfortable position as struijk seems more comfortable in midfield than in the back line imo.
Who knows though? Maybe koch will shine in KP's position

I would put shacks in, he can actually score as well.
Brought too many wide men , but no one to replace Bamford, if gets injured or loses form.

TEAM NEWS: Leeds United head coach Marcelo Bielsa says Pascal Struijk will replace midfielder Kalvin Phillips (shoulder) for the trip to Aston Villa (Fri, KO: 8pm).

Its too early to say if Liam Cooper (groin) will be ready. Diego Llorente (muscle) remains out.

MB is saying that there are 2 players for each position and Tyler Roberts is the stand in.

Incidentally Ryan Edmondson got a brace last night up in Scotland.....

Reads on different places that Danny Rose can be a good signing for Leeds. It sounds positive for me, but what do you think?

NO
Rose's career has been on a downward trajectory for a few seasons now. I very much doubt he would cope with the demands bielsa asks of the players

Bielsa would take one look at the attitude on him and send him packing

I’ve totally missed that he has attitude problems. I’ve always seen him as a silent guy, a Gary Kelly type of guy. But Iwas wrong then?

No from me through his career since making his debut he's averaged just over 20 games per season. Suspect that would be less under MB's fitness regime, can just see him struggling to cope. Add that to what others have said and he does appear to be going backwards.

On the flip side I could easily be wrong and MB's fitness regime could actually rekindle him, he was a very good player at his best.

Not sure about the attitude thing, not something I'd noticed but not really followed his career that closely so can't comment.
