I don't understand why people take it all so seriously. I'm all for a bit of banter but I never take football personally.NottinghamWhite wrote:https://dcfcfans.uk/topic/35364-leeds-u ... /#comments
I hate to say it but I think it just reeks of sour grapes.

I thought he supported Spurs from what I've heard on TalksportFrankie wrote:Darren Gough??

While there were a (very) few valid points, the whole thing reeked of bitterness and despair. I thought I'd have a laugh, but now I just feel sad

He does. He's gone on record as being both a Barnsley (his home town) and a Spurs fan.BrighouseWhite wrote:I thought he supported Spurs from what I've heard on TalksportFrankie wrote:Darren Gough??

Since I am from Argentina I am still getting used to all existing football rivalries in English football, especially those that aren't the main rivalries, and more specifically around Leeds United. I was a bit surprised to see such negative comments from Derby County fans, but that only speaks badly of themselves. They would kill to be in our same situation right now. And honestly Derby County could win the Premiership and even with that they would never be as transcendent as Leeds United.

I've never trusted anyone who says they support two clubs in the same country. I support Leeds, follow a handful of overseas and non-league clubs, and have either an affection, hatred or indifference towards all others. I could never say I 'support' anyone other than Leeds.rigger wrote:He does. And LeedsArg, you're totally right, it's just a deep-seated jealousy, made all the worse by them thinking they'd got one over on us the season before last, only to be humiliated by the clubs going in opposite directions.

I've met him before, Barnsley is his number 1 club.rigger wrote:He does. He's gone on record as being both a Barnsley (his home town) and a Spurs fan.BrighouseWhite wrote:I thought he supported Spurs from what I've heard on TalksportFrankie wrote:Darren Gough??

Maybe someone should remind them that in 2007-2008 they racked up just 11 points & a goal difference of -69 in the Premiership. They only had 1 win against Newcastle ( they also drew against them giving them 36% of their total points ) After 3 games we’re already more than 50% of achieving their number of points.
