Does it bother you that Bielsa doesn't speak English?

Not a jot.

I like it, to be honest. It contributes to his man of mystery persona.

I like the way you think, SnifferSniffer wrote:I like it, to be honest. It contributes to his man of mystery persona.

I bet Klopp wishes he took the same approach after his last post-match interview ... I'm sure the 10 seconds or so to calm and think would have helped him! The flip-side is I liked Klopp's spontaneous answers. Confirmed what we always knew about Wilder (selfish).

No not at all, his language is displayed on the pitch every week.

No problem. He probably speaks English better than most of the squad anyway.
I once played against Don Revie.

Biesla speaks the language of beautiful football!
Never knew it was a problem to be honest but I'm sure some in the media like to stir it up that he does not speak English (mainly to them). Lets be honest Spanish is a better sounding language anyways. The thing is he does speak English and can speak and understand English and i think Kalvin Phillips says he does in the dressing room.

Owners come and go but Leeds United will be there forever, for the fans - keep Marching on Together.

Not in the slightest.
In various interviews (Bamford? Phillips?) it has been said he speaks English ok.
But we have to remember Bielsa is a perfectionist. And also no matter whom he encounters in his job - referees, opposition managers or media people - he wants to treat them with respect.
I'd suggest he's aware his English is not 100% and, as a respect to the media, he delegates the translation/interpretation to the young Colombian guy.

Might have to take an interest in the Premier League now....
