More great LUFC things to buy

Post by Deebo »

Couple of Leeds United related artistic outputs worth supporting:

‘Leeds United Mishmash – The History of Leeds United Football Club in one Image’. This took over 1000 hours to complete and has almost every single notable event covered - Our Leeds NSW flag made it in (designed by Sheepy) Check the top of the iconic floodlights! Anyway, this is a superb piece of visual history of LUFC and well worth getting.

The other thing I wanted to mention was The Book ‘United Revolución’ - a visual documentary of Elland Road football stadium.

This publication is the concept of Leeds-born photographer and Leeds United supporter Justin Slee. He began the project after being moved by the supporters’ energy and the atmosphere they generated inside the historic Elland Road Stadium. The catalyst was during the 2018/19 season’s opening league game for the team and the newly appointed Argentine Coach Marcelo Bielsa.

This book captures and records a moment in time between 2018-2020 through graphic design and documentary photography. Accompanying the photographs are a series of Leeds United themed essays, memories and quotes shared by both the fans and current and former representatives of the club. These include Eddie Gray, Liam Cooper, Lucas Radebe, Stuart Dallas, David Batty, Josh Warrington, Phil Hay, and many more. All of which combine to confirm why Elland Road has become such a sacred and special place in the hearts of all the supporters of Leeds United, from around the world.

I love my Leeds books, and this one is a cracker!

Lovely stuff. I'll be onto those
