Would certainly expect Dallas, Roberts and Alioski to be in their respective squads.

Wonder if Meslier will be looked at by France? can't be far off a senior call up.

Appreciate I’ll be in a minority of one here, but I don’t like our players getting call ups for international games.

Yes, it’s nice for the club to be recognised as having international players, and it’s great for the players themselves to represent their countries, but for me, it’s yet more games in an already packed schedule and also a further risk of injury.

Lots of rumours saying Luke Ayling could be a surprise call up.

Ayling and Harrison both in with a shout given injuries to lots of England regulars. Phillips is surely a shoo-in, although he'll be behind Rice in the pecking order you'd imagine.

Alioski definitely called up, as is Dallas and Klitch. Cooper out of Scotland squad. Phillips will be in the England squad and Bamford is a possibility. Ayling could be an option as England are not strong in the Full back options. I remember when I was a little younger ;) that England's strongest positions was GK and full backs. The likes of Joe Corrigan and Mick Mills found it difficult to get caps.

Bit surprised not to see Bamford getting a go if I'm honest. Even if he's not been getting the rub of the green of late, I'd have thought he'd done enough to earn a chance so far this year.

Ayling was probably always a bit of a long shot. Would have been some story though.
