This is just come on the BBC website.
Was always going to happen to get Sports Capital £6 million back.
Although am not sure they will get anything if Leeds are wound up.

Re: Winding Up
I thought loans had to be regulated, licenses and all that? Looks like anyone can loan money to anyone now?
Is it me or has Leeds gone mad
Re: Winding Up
Flowers is stamping his feet, shouting louder than the adults in an attempt to get his bid back to the top of the pile. He will call this, shrewd business. I call it petulance.

I thought this thread was going to be about the wind-up that Brian fell for on Friday night!

I've said for ages that this whole business could end up down the administration road.

Re: Winding Up
i think we can see what this bloke Flowers is like, don't think it's a serious attempt to get Leeds Utd. wound up but what fan would want this toe rag involved in our club now.

Re: Winding Up
To loan Leeds £1.7m over 3 year seems strange.
The 7% interest is just £119000 a year so he would get back just over £2m.
But as i said if he winds Leeds up he may only get a pittance back.

Re: Winding Up
Petulance indeed, it is said he wants £6million back which he loaned the club but which seems to have disappeared if Cellino's bid wins. He's been figuratively stabbed in the back by Haigh who seems to have more faces than the town hall clock. I'd be a bit petulant too!Mellor wrote:Flowers is stamping his feet, shouting louder than the adults in an attempt to get his bid back to the top of the pile. He will call this, shrewd business. Re: Winding Up
Never a boring moment.
I can't make my mind up whether we will be better off with Flowers gang or the Italian Mob, can't say i'm thrilled with either.

I was tempted to ask for my season ticket money back. What with cheap deals for one off purchases and gross incompetence. Decided to let 'em keep it - side before self!
