Usually old style lodgings with a family, the club were advertising fairly recently for new families.
When you retire, you switch bosses - from the one that hired you, to the one that married you.

A mate of mine owned an old B&B at Plainmoor & took in young players on YTS contracts as it was in those days. During the time I lived down there he had Lee Sharpe & Darren Moore living with him. Moore was a cracking young man who used to call Alan & his wife Mum & Dad
