I've no expertise on injuries but always had an interest in Athletics. The faster/fitter athletes always seem to get more muscle type injuries such as hamstring and calf.
Maybe it's the same with us as we know fitness levels are a key element.
Trouble is ease off on the fitness levels and suspect a few of our players wouldn't have reached Prem level.
Victim of our own progress?
Of course some injuries caused by physical contact are just that and can't really be avoided in my view.

Unbelievable, Geoff! I wonder what would have happened if Bielsa and the staff hadn’t done this in the summer? We’d have no players available at all!!!

Harrison. Wouldn't surprise me if Raphinha wasn't 100% too after that unbooked foul on him.ChilwellWhite wrote:Bamford -

Phillips and Cooper expected to return around March.
Shackleton and Cresswell towards the end of January.

Something along the lines of he’s fit, but hasn’t played for four weeks (think he said) nor has he trained. A place on the bench v Burnley maybe, but who knows.NottinghamWhite wrote:Any news on Paddy ?Barlow Boy wrote:Phillips and Cooper expected to return around March.
