Got my copy this morning. Looking forward to a good read.
I once played against Don Revie.

Half-way through. Really excellent research and presentation. Congratulations to ANS and Ben Hunt.
I was delighted to see a team photo (1950 page 28) which included two players I played against. Jim Milburn and Len Browning who both played for East End Park in the Yorkshire League. Jim Milburn was player/manager. I was only 21 at the time I marked Len Browning, who had played for Leeds United and Sheffield United, and was more than happy to see the 0 - 0 result. Len was a very fair player, no devious kicks or punches but he was as hard as nails. As it was my first season in 'open-age' football, it was an experience!
(After playing for Leeds United Colts I went in to do National Service. I played lots of football but it was all against lad's who were in the same age bracket.)

Looking forward to continuing the read.

It would be great to get a few more of you involved in this competition!

Don't be shy, post up a photo of your own or a link to a favorite kit to enter.

ON ON ON!

Not the photo I wanted to post but a reconstruction of it in the same spot ... only 28 years later. Can't find the original, no doubt it will turn up when I'm not looking for it.

That's the Evening Post sponsored shirt, I believe - worn for just one season? Quite a season though

Not owner of it myself but for me a pure white kit with a round collar with no coloured trimmings (other than sponsors logos) is a true Leeds Utd kit.

Oh and add great striker :D
