Allegedly Duncan McKenzie was Clough's ears in the dressing room I suppose that made him a traitor ?

Harry Kewell, no one come close to him IMO.
We are Leeds, we have to believe our new players are good enough, encourage and support them and help them grow in to a team to be reckoned with. MoT

This is one of the worst THREADS ever, it's almost offensive

A 'traitor' betrays people's trust or more to the point, their country. And it might still be that traitors are sentence-able to death, I don't know. This is a game of football where transfers happen practically every day, where clubs WANT to sell or lend out players.

Players come and go for numerous reasons.
Unless we know exactly the reason why peltier went on loan I think it's a bit harsh calling him a traitor.

I am more concerned about the players at the club that don't give 100% when on the pitch. That's more of a disservice to lufc than a player leaving. At least when they leave you know where you stand and it can give another player an opportunity.

In the true sense of traitor what about Gary Sprake (allegedly) or one that (again allegedly) leaked team news to our opponents (his old club) Shaun Derry yet people would have welcomed Derry back.

Allegedly he moved to America & sold his story to the press alleging that Don Revie was paying opposing players to throw games.
Counter claims that it was Sprake on the take (as some of his performances/howlers could substantiate.
Apparently he has not set foot inside Elland road since his departure is is not welcome, those players of the Revie era loathe him, allegedly Allan Clarke, Joe Jordan & Gordon McQueen have threatened him with violence.

There is a YouTube clip of Sprake being interviewed about this on Football Focus I think it was. It isn't pleasant viewing and there was some nauseating prejudice comment posted below the clip against the interviewer, Damien .....

I've not heard the threats of violence rumour. Did McQueen (or Jordan) ever even play in the same team as Sprake?

72/73, there is a team photo on the internet with them all in it, I seem to recall McQueen punching Sprake in the face during one match.
