I've said this previously in the match sections, it's as if the first half is sort of a prelude to the second.
Perhaps I feel like that, as I stand in the KOP and generally we play towards that end in the second half, but there is certainly something in this.

Obviously McDermott is good at his half time team talks 
But again today we lost the first half and won the second, unfortunately the goal margins don't go in our favour.
Shame we also seem to down hill in the second half of the season, but the second halves of the first 23 games, you should have seen us!

Am I being harsh to suggest that we are only better in the second half because its only then when the players are shamed into actually trying and the opposition also go down a gear because its 'job done' already from our usual first half giveaway?

This isn't a "BMc thing". Do you remember how many games consecutive we played under Warnock last season, where we didn't score in the first half?

It's easier to play when there's nothing to lose. Pressure is off and attacking begins.
