Not all rumours are false, not even ones about our club! This could be one of those rare things, a true rumour! I hope so.

From what I've read on twitter ( decent tweeters for me too ) I think your right ANS, and I hope so too could well be a happy Friday indeed.

Well if this is the buying back off ER its the best £18m signing we have made in years.isrodger wrote:I believe we may have just made a £18m signing

Think there's a decimal point missing there.isrodger wrote:I believe we may have just made a £18m signing
Re: Radrizzani's recruitments
At this stage I'd rather spend £18 m on players.
If we go up, we will have plenty of money to spend on the ground

Suspect we are in the minority pal, but I agree with this.whiteinfrance wrote:At this stage I'd rather spend £18 m on players.

I've been telling my kids for years that renting is dead money, but in this case I'd decorate the house before buying.

Re: Radrizzani's recruitments
I've always felt that if we went up while renting our ground then because of the money in the prem, the price for the ground would sky rocket .. that or the owner would be unwilling to sell and prefer to put the rent up to cash in on prem money. So i feel that any deal to buy the ground before we go up is preferable.
Just to add, if the new owner is looking to relocate then owning ER is still favourable as soon as possible.

Re: Radrizzani's recruitments
It seems to me to be a clever exercise by Radrizzani & co to keep a few plates spinning at the same time. Buying the ground not only is financially sensible but it's something lots of fans have wanted for ages, probably spiced up by the lies surrounding buying the ground since Bates' days. Radrizzani looks to have acted rather than just spouted about the purchase. And we have signed some players as well with I hope more to come.
GTKO, I think there is a set price on the rental costs so promotion wouldn't affect that until that agreement date has passed - I'm probably wrong but 2021 seems to ring a bell. ISR knows tons more about all of this than me.
