Christmas gift shout out

Post by cheffy007 »

Gentlemen, having been a chef for the past 33 years, I have almost hung up my apron and have started my own chutney and pickle business.
I’m based in Tunbridge Wells and work out of my home kitchen, all my ingredients are grown within a 10 mile radius (apart from mangoes and oranges). All veg and fruit is hand peeled and chopped. I currently stock my local butchers, bakers and a very popular farm shop.
I have been selling mail order through my website and also locally. I have had great feedback and would like to sell more so as I can eventually work completely for myself.
What I’m trying to get across is if you are stuck for a great Christmas gift I now sell a 3 jar gift bag, the ideal Christmas gift for somebody who normally receives novelty socks.
My website address is www.stuckinapickle.co.uk and I am on Facebook and Instagram @stuckinapickle
I hope you can spare a couple of minutes of your valuable time to have a look and maybe consider a purchase.
So may I be the first to wish you all a very merry Christmas. MOT.

Nice one Cheffy !
I've seen your stuff on Facebook and they look scrummy

I love the whole process and how organic it all is - a definite thumbs up from me.

.. er .. which is what I just did :shifty:

As for me, I really don't like Xmas that much after working in retail for so long.
Amongst my friends, we generally don't get each other anything at all, but if we do it'll be something quirky and personal - maybe from a charity shop or boot sale - and the unspoken rule is that you then tell the recipient "get me something, but no more than a fiver". It's just something we've all done for years. One time, my oldest mate from school got me Billy Bremner's autobiography You Get Nowt For Coming Second and it was one of the best presents I'd ever had :D

If anyone else wants to post up some of their own creations or good ideas for gifts or bargains online, etc, feel free to add to this thread.
Or, if you've got a problem person and don't know what to get them, tell us a bit about them and see what suggestions you get from everyone in here.

... keep it clean though, eh ? :shh:

Ordered some for ourselves, sure it won't be the last order before Xmas
