Thursday is steak night as its Cathy's birthday, spotted the restaurant we will use, looks nice.
Will BBQ chicken at the old town market last night near the cruise terminal. The local wine is so good we had to have a 2nd bottle to wash it down. ;) :D

Hello from Santiago in sunny Chile, just arrived at B & B and what amazing views of snow capped mountains surrounding the city.

Self organised to just Uruguay and Chile, 8 nights in Montivideo and now 8 in Santiago.
Just booked flights and hotels through Expedia far cheaper than organised trips.
Of course using the cities as a base, did a couple of nice excursions in Uruguay also walked the rambla along the waterfront all 32km of it (over 3 days).
Off to the coast in Chile tomoz a couple of places then Monday got trip booked up in the Andes, should be good.

Take note Uruguay wine is top notch beats the Argie and Chile versions, shame not much gets exported.
