Yeah VHTM, it is a cracking version by Big Country. I remember the first time I heard it too and I thought it was fantastic.

Here's another Big Country cover of Neil Young song, Rockin in the Free World. I've got this on a limited edition record, sounds great on my set up.

When you have the composer & original artist and the President of the United States in the audience singing along, you know you're doing well

Knew this was a cover but always assumed from a reggae artist. Last week heard the Neil Diamond original and was quite surprised.

I grew up listening to UB40 and many other reggae bands that i still like to listen to. UB40 were in my opinion one of the best cover version bands of their time. I used to try and find the original artists to most of their covered songs and some of them were also as impressive.

Got another one by Big Country. A cover of Roxy Music's Prairie Rose.

I got my hands on this version a few weeks ago and I love it.

One of the many covers of Simon & Garfunkel's - The 59th Street Bridge Song. A Blues version by The Ford Blues Band.
