Increased wage bills? What's Bamford and Douglas on ? Will we need to hold money back to allow new contracts to mach ? We may not be paying Premiership salaries but even small percentage of future rises at 15 -20k per week soon adds up. My mam always told be you needed something held back and never spend your last penny.

Having seen what happened at Lille last season, I would hope that we've kept back £6-7m for the January window just in case of injuries and fatigue ..

There is also the wage bills of any loanees we get this month. MB has said he wants a lean squad so maybe that's the plan. The fitness regime and regular game time might mean they can last the season.

Norwood looks to be off to Sheffield United.

We are being linked with a loan deal for Real Madrid's Odegaard.

Much as I'd like this to be true, all the articles I've read on Odegaard have been about Villa and Derby, with no mention of us. That being said, I'd imagine Bielsa and the smaller squad would make Leeds a more appealing place to send him for Real.

Norwood isn’t good enough .... players who will improve us now cost £5m plus. Really highlights what a bad decision the Viera sale was. However Priority is still centre back.... I expect/ hope we sign Foyth from spurs and they should let us loan him for nothing... the education he will have playing this year for us under Bielsa will add £5m to his value.

I suspect it is journos putting 2 and 2 together and making 5. You never know though.

I see Madison wasn't in match day squad at weekend. Loan to buy could be on the cards. Leeds have been linked previously.

Giannelli Imbula would fit into our system perfectly and played under Bielsa and available
