And the next 4 games

Post by NottinghamWhite »

As a forum we did well predicting the number of points let's see how we do with the next 4 games which are :-

Millwall Away
Preston Home
Birmingham Home
Sheffield Wednesday Away

I think 10 points

Millwall Away = A STUNNING VICTORY AND A CLEAN SHEET
Preston Home = A VENGEFUL AND SPAWNY WIN
Birmingham Home = A STROLLING, HALF-PACE WIN
Sheffield Wednesday Away = A HARD-FOUGHT DRAW

Another 8 pts for me and that will make me very happy indeed if we can achieve that.

Just don't lose at Millwall and I'd be v pleased but TBH I think they're all hard games even Brum and wouldn't be unhappy with one win and 3 draws = 6 points.

Same as Rigger.

I'd just add that I think Millwall away will be a 0-1 victory, made difficult by the opposition team and fans in equal measure. A match that we won't run away with, but ultimately never look like losing.

We've had a tough start to the season, the Millwall jinx is long overdue to be buried. Wendies away will be tough so I'm going for 8 points.

I think in at least 2 of those games we will see 10 men behind the ball from the opposition. So far these are the games that we have struggled in because our full backs and midfield runners do not have the space.

They are all tough games because the onus will be on us to create chances. The 2 away games might be better as Millwall & Wedneday will have their fans demanding that they play us toe to toe and this could leave space as long as we do not concede early.

Brum & Preston will set up like Boro........maybe not 5 at the back but with 5 in the middle. Hopefully they will be a poor mans Boro and we can exploit gaps in their defence. One thing we will need is patience in these matches though.

7 points for me.
