Just great music.....
Re: Just great music.....
Really enjoying a lot of bossa nova stuff right now, picking up old vinyl and a few albums I missed down the years from the likes of Lalo Schifrin.
If you're unfamiliar with the genre, here's a quick crash course from the amazing Caterina Valente with the charming Dino on his show in the 60s :

Could be
I think it's more to do with that I've found myself listening to a lot of their stuff of late and trying to aquire some of the records and cd's I once had. I saw them twice in Leeds when I lived there and they were fantasic live.
Currently listening to The Cure of late.

It's a 20,000 sell out, 40 years on from their first single...

Good song by the Cure. Should be a blinding gig that KK. One of the most distinctive sounds in Music.

Seen them numerous times and they never fail to entertain.
If there's no curfew, they can play for hours. Saw them in The Point Depot Dublin in 1992 - played what I believe is still a record for a single performance, 3 & 3/4 hours...
I read an interview with Robert Smith where he said as a 14 year old he saved up for months to go see David Bowie somewhere in London. Bowie did an hour onstage and Smith vowed if he ever made it to the big time, he'd never play a short gig.

One of the old disco floor fillers. Paul Weller had a knack of creating songs that you could boogie along to.
