Ah yes you are so right, my humble apologies to Maple & Cad, I can only put it (my memory loss) down to the fact that you were, not for the first time, plying me with far too much of the evil white man's fire water! :o ;) :D

If memory serves me right Coz's wife worked for one of the airlines & he came over a couple of times for games. The night I refer to he was on a whirlwind visit & me & him had a couple in Town before meeting up at The United. We played Preston that night who won 6-4 no wonder he hasn't been on since :D

Met SW and Cathy when he was over, lovely couple pity it was only over the one pint. Just met Johnh yesterday for a spot of lunch. As we all know John has a wealth of interesting stories and again could have done with being able to chat longer.

NEARLY met up with Mapperleywhite whilst over in East Midlands with work but unfortunately it didn't work out.

I have a shocking memory for people's names and faces so I started with Nottingham Whites list and took out a few I don't think I've met...(They'll now tell me I have of course...embarrassing ) also added Nottingham White himself of course and Mr Russell.

I'm useless with this but there is a reason why - and not the obvious one :D

It's because I'm friends with loads of people I've met online but generally I know them by their nickname first and then by their real name, but that only sticks if I've seen them a few times. So, from here Sheepy/Graeme I met on the old Silverfox site and we met up in person something like 12 years ago for the first time, I would guess.
Others from here I find it harder to place because I don't live in Leeds and it's always a fleeting "hello !" on the very odd occasion I've met any of you.

I'm not making excuses (much) but it's much easier if you see someone regularly or have spent six hours getting hammered with them.
As I don't get up much and don't drink anymore, neither are much of an option.

I’d forgotten about Mrs Sheepy, and forgot Shirley was a member

Glad to see it's not just me with memory problems? ;)
