Whats you favourite tipple
Whats you favourite tipple
We've had the tea or coffee poll but whats your poison if you have one. I know there's a few red wine drinkers but what else do enjoy relaxing or socialising with.

Is this multiple choice?

I don't drink anymore, but it was always beer for me - any kind, too. I love Guinness, ales, lagers .. the odd dry cider went down well on a hot day too.
Never been much of a spirits man, though I do like Pernod.
A good port is lovely too.
Still, that's all in the past now ..
Coffee.
It's the way forward.
.. and also the way to annoy everyone else in the pub when you order one as it generally ties up the barperson for a good couple of minutes

Think most folk know I'm very partial to New Zealand Sauvingon from the Marlborough region. Spirits I like a Bacardi & Coke.

My daughters are very much into all these new fangled gins. One of them has about 8 different flavours. Don't like gin personally but it's certainly having some revival

I used to love real ale but these days a) I struggle to drink a pint b) it gives me an upset stomach. Shame as I was weaned on Cameron's Bitter.

I like my Sauvingnon as well. As a wine drinker I class myself as an ABC

Beer - real ale Fullers ESB & London Pride + many more! (although, like NW, I can't deal with the volume these days)
Westmalle Dubbel is a dark beer from Belgium. In fact most beers from that country including Stella.
Pinot Noir and German/Austrian reds
Californian (unoaked!) Chardonnay and Portuguese/Spanish whites
Dessert wines like Moscatel de Setubal
G&T Aldi gin is fine by me!
Cointreau
Cardenal Mendoza brandy from Spain, aged in sherry barrels
Nonino grappa di moscato
(Don't like whisky, sorry)
And that's just for breakfast

Re: Whats you favourite tipple
Real ales for me. Preferably a blonde or straw ale.
On the rare occasions I have wine I would go for a Rioja.
