I know nothing is certain in football but think West Brom are now preparing for the play offs.

Not ready to write the Blunts off but victories in our next two games and we could be more interested in chasing Norwich.
Big match for them against the Wendies, if they don't win and we beat Wigan I can see them getting the Jitters.

Norwich City -- They have drawn their last two games and were fortunate in the last one to get the draw but I can't see us catching them for first

Sheffield United -- People talk about Forest being an easy win for the Blunts but i still regard Forest as a team that could hurt anyone in this league. They may have nothing to play for but they are professionals and no player likes to lose and still would do their best to win. Hull could do us a favor. It's very hard to call.

Leeds United -- I believe we can win all four games we have left, we may have to. I am never a person who relies on others to get a job done, We should just take care of our own destiny and go for max points regardless of other teams around us. I believe we get second place but it will be as dramatic as Bristol Rovers was in League one.

WBA -- not in the race in my opinion, send them to the playoffs now for sacking Darren Moore too flimsily....

You say we may have to win our last 4 games, not actually the case.

Now that we have a 3 point lead over SU, we can afford to draw one, even if SU win all 4 of their games (Even with better goal difference).

I stand corrected :D but I wouldn't like to have that added pressure either, if we drew the next game and they win yes we are one point ahead but I would rather we win and they draw then we could afford one loss and still be safe but I want four wins from four, which could just catch Norwich at the same time. Just hoping as usual.

True we need 10 from 12 to secure second spot, Norwich need 8 from 12 to secure the title unless we win all four by massive margins. If we win the next two and SU drop points, that makes the Villa game, the last home game of the season, take on a whole different meaning. We could be in a position of winning and knowing its enough for us to go up. #letthepartybegin

We could in theory win promotion at Brentford provided we beat Wigan and the blades draw with Forest and Hull meaning if we win at Brentford we would be 7 points clear with 2 games left.

Winning at Brentford where we havent won since 1957 will take some doing but this side have shown the can do the impossible.

At risk of putting a downer on things, we could also lose the next one and Shef Utd win...

I'm praying we can keep doing what we're capable of, but I'm not getting ahead of myself given how many times things have changed over the past 3 weeks (something I'd assume will be central to what Chris Wilder is telling his players). Each game as it comes and we'll see what happens.

Some fans are optimists and some are pessimists, guess I like to be the former

True, seeing how Wigan almost won at Norwich, I don't think we can take a win for granted, and Forrest most likely won't cause Sh.U any problems, we could see the Brentford game crucial

Plenty of room to be an optimist when you go back to the start of this thread.

The predictions were based on results earlier in the season and if you look at it now from that direction, Sheff Utd have Forest to play (who they lost to), Hull (who they beat) and Ipswich & Stoke (who they drew with).

Repeat them and that's only 5pts on what they have now.

Of course stats aren't fact and none of us know what will happen. However you look at it a 3 point lead with 4 matches to go isn't a bad place to be, certainly better than 3 points behind.
