I presume this talk of Jansson moving to Sheffield United is pure codswallop?

Not sure which if any club will get him but the rumours are very strong that Bielsa doesn't want Jansson any more and that the club are looking to sell him.

As always seems to be the case, Leeds fans who reveal the rumour have been slated all over social media 'for making it up' etc etc. The big problem is, something definitely does not seem right over the club instructing PJ not to return to the club until 12th July.

I fear we're selling him BUT if Bielsa wants rid then I'll accept it.

I'll not accept it if we sell Phillips though.

I don't think Bielsa will want Phillips to go so if he is sold it will be a club decision.

I know we have got quite a few loan players but have been surprised that they have come in fairly fast. Usually we get linked with lots of players, nothing arises from most and we may get a player or two late on, usually less known/quality than all the previous rumours suggested.

Strong word is that it will be a Championship rival.

Not sure what to believe personally but if PJ doesn't go to Australia with the squad then it means to me that certain rumours about him not being wanted here anymore are true.

I don't believe that there has been a big fall-out or anything, I'm as surprised as anyone if Bielsa doesn't want him anymore but I can believe it at the same time. TBH if it ever comes to NOT trusting in Bielsa, I wouldn't be citing this situation as the reason, I rate PJ as a player very highly when his head is on it but he's been unreliable this last season and players have to show respect and commitment to the team and the boss.

Personally I think Pontus is way too hot headed & if Bielsa wants rid I’ll stick with his decision.

I would also not to like to see Pontus leave. For one we have a young team and need leaders (something that was lacking at the end of last year) . Secondly he is IMO a better CB than Cooper or Beradi. And finally you only let someone leave if you have somebody better to replace them and I don’t think we have

The call to let a CB of PJ’s quality leave will only be right if the club bring in someone as good or if not better, he can go missing but he can also be the best CB in the league more often than not , not sure the lad from Brighton is up to it , will be a backwards step to let him go for me .
