On my wife’s timeline on Facebook she keeps sending out adverts for sunglasses etc to her friends. How she can stop this spam ?

She can't.
She's been hacked.

I've got a mate who's a web developer and he sent me a link last month that showed he'd been hacked 12 or 13 times and when I did it, my various accounts showed about 16 times.

It's part of modern life.
We're both net-savvy and use various ad blockers and proxies, etc, but we've still been got to.

Nothing much anyone can do about it - it's slightly irritating, but no more than that I would think.
Her friends will be affected far more than her :D

Have you informed Facebook, Phil?

Mrs NW needs to change her password for Facebook etc. Might be worth putting a message on her page too telling people she isn't really sending those adverts ;)

I’ve just reported it so see what happens, I’m sure it’s a common thing they sort out.
