You may be right BB as to be honest I slept through most of it but Mrs SW got up, said to me this morning "it was really flashing over there", pointing in the direction of Barlow/Drax.Barlow Boy wrote: Maybe we got it a bit worse than you SW,

Re: Chuffing heck
Was so humid last night me and Mrs SW decided to sit out at front of our home after tea as it was shaded there with a slight breeze.
Wasn't long before a couple of neighbours joined us and ended up with a great evening of laughs, helped by a number of bottles of wine and a few nibbles.
Was sat there until midnight before calling it a day.

Very windy here today.
Re: Chuffing heck
Crazy weather here in west of Ireland.
Living in a very rural area, drove 5 miles into local village. About 2 miles outside, a tropical type downpour hit, had to slow to 20 mph. Got to village and it stopped.
15 mins later, left the village and same spot 2 miles outside was still downpour, it hadn't moved...
Got home (3 more miles) and ground was dry as a bone.
