Dear LUFCTalkers...
You may be aware that in the past we have sold small tin button badges, mainly to raise the profile of the forum and raise a few funds to boot.
We are now thinking about getting some top quality enamel badges made that can be sold to our members. Once again the reasons being to raise the profile of the forum, raise a few funds for the forum coffers, but also to create something collectable and more of a keepsake as the badges will be quality items.
This is an example of the quality:
The badge will be made with a gold coloured polished metal and the colours are made with hard enamel.
What I need for you guys is just a few answers to these questions:
(1) Would you be interested in buying one (or more) of the badges?
(2) Do you think a price of around £3 per badge is fair?
(3) Do you think the badges should be available to LUFCTALK members only, or do you think it would be a good idea for sales to non members via ebay etc to help raise the profile of the forum.
Any other thoughts or ideas are also welcomed, cheers!

(1) Yes

(3) I think it should be available anywhere. eBay may give us more members too. You can put a link on the description page for the forum.

Pedantic of me Shipscat but the smiley badge is not straight edged, the one in the pic is.
It looks good but it would look a fair bit better if the smiley is more authentic.
Why make it available just here?
£2 to me is reasonable.

I'd buy one at £3 as I have a connection with the forum but perhaps, and if profitable, as ONS says £2 on ebay etc. I do also think it would promote the forum if made available else where.

Sheepeys has produced enamel badges for Nottingham Whites in the past and they are of the highest quality and are excellent value for money in my opinion.

You could have a badge made up for members and others for the general public. 3 quid is the price of a beer here so I think that is a fair price to ask especially if it helps the running cost of the forum.

3) I think if the purpose of the badge is to raise funds and increase awareness, they should be available to everyone through any outlet.

I too have purchased a number of the badges in the past, and have found them to be of excellent quality and more than happy to buy a few more.
