Selected to go to Nottingham
A few of you know I play Table Tennis have done to a decent standard.
Anyway been selected to play for Yorkshire (oldies) in the Over 60's county championships in Nottingham in November.
So my question to Nottingham White or Mapperley White - any idea where Sycamore Table Tennis Club is ?
Never played there only Nottingham venue I've played at is in Draycott.

It’s near Gedling which is past the race course ( approximately a mile further ) at a place called Carlton le Willows.

Thanks its based at Carlton Le Willows Academy, Wood Lane and found it on Google .NottinghamWhite wrote:It’s near Gedling which is past the race course ( approximately a mile further ) at a place called Carlton le Willows.
Suspect its better approaching from the A1 rather than M1 (as I'm near the A1 at this end) ?

Yes the A1 would be better, we’re based next to the M1 complete opposite side of the city.

Re: Selected to go to Nottingham
Just seen the fixtures we have two matches each day on Saturday against Oxfordshire & Warwickshire and Sunday Cambridgeshire & Worcestershire.
Each match I'll play two Mens singles and either a Mens doubles or mixed doubles (possibly both) so a busy weekend but will look forward to it.

A 614 will bring you into the right area, but a bit of a nightmare if you're stuck behind a tractor, and there's a lot of cameras.Selby White wrote:Thanks NW, That's good much easier drive as i'm planning to travel both days.NottinghamWhite wrote:Yes the A1 would be better, we’re based next to the M1 complete opposite side of the city.
Might have to take an interest in the Premier League now....
