Just put a beef stew in the slow cooker. Will have it with mashed potato, cabbage, peas and dumplings.

Roast shoulder of pork, red cabbage, roast potatoes and Yorkshire pudding (sorry if you think YP is not appropriate but Mrs MW loves it!)
Wine yet to be decided but could be Lidl's Californian Merlot which they had on offer recently for just £2.99.

Might have to take an interest in the Premier League now....

Beef stew in the slow cooker for us as well, had venison stew done the same way last night. We've started buying a box of wonky veg from Morrisons which easily does 2 out of the 3 nights a week I'm at home and what's left we give to the in-laws for them to use.ChilwellWhite wrote:Just put a beef stew in the slow cooker. Toasted ham, cheese and pickle sandwich with chips. Really fancy this tonight.

Had a nice big fish & chips at mid-day so have just had two (small) pork pies with mustard and glass of red.
I once played against Don Revie.

I’m in the process of making a minestrone soup for tonight. It’ll be served with a french stick. See I can do foreign grub

Just bought some ham off the bone so not sure what we will do with it ? Probably chips, fried egg and peas.
